Board Achievements

  • Established a Community Hub at Chartwell Elementary
  • Saw the growth and expansion of Eagle Harbour Montessori from kindergarten to grade 5
  • Established ACE-it Carpentry program at West Vancouver Secondary School
  • Signed first ever Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement between SD45 and the Squamish Nation
  • Supported the creation of the District Honour Choir
  • Approved Ecole Cedardale as an early year’s IB Candidate school – the first French Immersion School in BC to begin implementation of an early year’s program
  • Conducted a successful district wide French Immersion Review
  • Approved the establishment of YELL (Young Entrepreneurship and Leadership Launchpad)
